Winning Jazz Top 2019

Readers of Jazz Forum magazine chose Dorota Miskiewicz as the Best Female Singer of 2019. This is very honorable award! It’s not Miskiewicz’s first time in the Jazz Top survey. 2016 was also valued by readers, when Dorota’s CD PIANO.PL was voted as the Best CD and concert PIANO.PL as the Best Event. A year later she was chosen by jazz journalists the Best Female Vocalist (ex aequo with Aga Zaryan). This time the Jazz Top was dominated by Leszek Możdżer, who won as the Musician, Pianist and Composer of the year. Maciej Obara marked his position as the Alto Saxophonist and his CD also won. Marcin Wasilewski Trio was voted as the best Acoustic Group and their drummer, Michal Miskiewicz (Dorota’s brother) won as the Drummer.
